Fitness Fun Day Student Donation Pages 2023
We’re gearing up for Fitness Fun Day, on Friday, November 3 - one of the biggest events of the Sligo school year! This is a day of school spirit that promotes fitness by engaging students in a variety of fun activities during their PE classes. This is the PTSA’s primary annual fundraiser, enabling us to support academic, cultural, and fitness activities throughout the year, as well as to support families in need within our community. Please consider how much you might be able to donate to support Sligo. If you have contributed to other schools’ auctions or events, please consider a similar level of support here. If you are ready to donate, you don't need to wait! Please give now or plan to do so before November 3. Donations to PTSA are tax-deductible.
While we count on local businesses to sponsor this fun event, most of the fundraising comes from Sligo families.
This year we are excited to be using Givebacks, which is an online fundraising tool for our students to use to promote this great event and to collect donations from family, friends and neighbors. We are asking you to help your student set up a donation page and share it with friends and family. There will be prizes for those who bring in the highest donation totals!

El Día de diversión fitness es un evento tradiciónal anual, organizado por el PTSA. “Fitness Fun Day” es un evento para toda la escuela que promueve la aptitud física y el espíritu escolar y recauda fondos para programas escolares fundamentales. Todos los estudiantes participarán en sus clases de educación física y salud, con la opción de correr, fútbol, baile y baloncesto. El grado con la puntuación más alta al final del día gana. El evento tiene lugar en aire libre, detrás de la escuela. Los miembros de la familia se ofrecen como voluntarios para realizar las actividades.
Aunque contamos con empresas locales para patrocinar este evento, la mayor parte de la recaudación de fondos proviene de las familias de Sligo.
Este año estamos emocionados de usar Givebacks, que es una herramienta de recaudación de fondos en línea para que nuestros estudiantes la usen para promover este evento y recolectar donaciones de familiares, amigos y vecinos. Le pedimos que ayude a su estudiante a crear una página de donaciones y compartirla con amigos y familiares. ¡Habrá premios para aquellos que traigan los totales de donaciones más altos!
